The Dubai International Humanitarian Aid and Development (DIHAD) conference, held annually in Dubai since 2004 under the auspices of the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and ruler of Dubai, HH Sheikh Muhammad bin Rashid al-Maktoum, is attended by politicians, opinion leaders, aid organizations, associations and international representatives. DIHAD is a platform for the exchange of ideas and creating new collaborations.
This year the conference was held for the 17th time on March 15-17, 2021 at the Dubai World Trade Center. The theme of this year’s conference was “Aid and Coronavirus, a focus on Africa”. For the first time, following the signing of the Abraham Accords between Israel and the UAE, Israeli organizations were invited to attend.
This year, Save a Child’s Heart was an exhibitor providing an opportunity for participants to learn more about our mission.
Over the course of three days, SACH representatives welcomed visitors to the booth from around the world, from countries including the United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, Iraq, Sudan, Lebanon, Iran, Syria, the Palestinian Authority, Morocco, Egypt, Pakistan, Tunisia, Mozambique, Guinea, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Sweden, Germany, Poland, Norway and the USA.
