On December 28, 2006, a cardiology team, which included Dr. Akiva Tamir, head of the pediatric cardiology unit at the Wolfson Medical Center and Dr. Livia Kapusta from the Radboud University Medical Center in Nijmegen, Holland travelled to Jordan in order to operate a cardiology clinic for Iraqi children, where 29 Iraqi children were examined.

Additional members of the mission were Robert Baruch of the KidsRights foundation in Holland, Jonah Mink, a SACH volunteer and Brandeis University alumni, who is producing a photographic project on co-existence and Simon Fisher, the SACH executive director. A Reuters filming crew followed the story in Jordan and in Israel.

This third SACH cardiology clinic in Jordan, took place at the Red Crescent Hospital in Amman hosted by Dr. Mohamad Al-Hadid, Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Red Cross and Red Crescent in Geneva. The children were brought to Jordan by Shevet Achim, a Christian organization and were hosted by their organization in Amman.

The Israeli medical teams cannot travel to Iraq, therefore the children travel to Jordan in order to be screened by the SACH medical team. The SACH medical team examines the children using a mobile echocardiograph machine they have brought to Jordan. Following the examination, the children are invited to the Wolfson Medical Center for cardiac treatment.

The first 4 children of this group are already in Israel; two of them have already undergone successful surgery.
